Microsoft has issued 12 security updates to patch 22 vulnerabilities in Windows, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office and it’s Internet server software.

Intel has halted shipments of its new “Sandy Bridge” processors because of a flaw identified in a support chip known as Cougar Point. The “Sandy Bridge” chip that had launched in January, combined standard processing and graphics units into a single chip.
